The Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition) directed comic-book adaptation tells the story of Wolverines (Hugh Jackman) origin, as he enlists in the Weapon X program ran by Major William Striker (Danny Huston) to help him hunt down Victor Creed (Sabretooth) who Wolverine finds is responsible for the death of his loved one. In addition to the aforementioned stars, Ryan Reynolds joins the cast as Deadpool, Dominic Monaghan takes the mantle of Beak and Taylor Kitsch stars as Gambit.
